The Monty Motel - Anglesea

The accessibility features were lacking-standard door widths and a shower with a step down made it tough for my wife in a wheelchair. Just didn't meet the needs advertised at all.

The staff was excellent and amicable all the time.

The location is perfect, just a short stroll from the fine riverside and local shops. The space in the room was roomy, and the beds were super comfy for a good night's sleep. I really enjoyed relaxing by the big pool, even if the water was a bit chilly!

There were some downsides. The shower was pretty tricky to operate, and I found the hot water to be inconsistent. I was really disappointed that there was no housekeeping during my stay, which meant I didn’t get any fresh towels or garbage removal. It would have been nice to have better service, especially for a weekend getaway!

the room was tastefully renovated, spacious, and quiet, tucked away from the main road. I appreciated the cozy bed and fluffy towels, plus the friendly staff who checked in daily to ensure everything was stocked.

No major issues, but parking could be tricky. 🚗.

The room was neat and offered with microwave and all the necessary items...extremely clean, for example. The rate was US$ 495. The hotel's location was favourable, near the beach and attractions, the shops and pubs and restaurants, and town centre.

A really great stay by the holidays. Great place for discovering Anglesea. Magnificent location close to beach spotlessly clean. Fashionable double room with the decor of the unit. A lot of supplies in the room: a fridge, an electric kettle, and a microwave oven...

The comfortable bed provided restful nights, allowing me to recharge for the day ahead. the amenities included in the unit were thoughtfully curated, ensuring I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.

Its incredible, central location was a plus.

Despite a few minor issues, like a less-than-welcoming reception, the tranquil atmosphere, access to the indoor pool, and nearby landmarks made for a nice family getaway.

I did notice a slight issue with the Wi-Fi connection, which was occasionally spotty. While this was minor, it did disrupt my work a bit, but overall, the experience was fantastic!

Great location and friendly staff make for a nice stay. The rooms have been refreshed, though some areas, like the carpets, show signs of wear.
